Road and Track Performance

The Gass RS-A name carries genuine racing pedigree. OZ developed this wheel architecture to serve the demanding requirements of Superbike competition, then translated the same forging process and spoke design into a road-legal product that fits as a direct replacement on the CBR 1000 RR SP2 SC77. Reducing rotating mass at the rear axle lowers the gyroscopic forces the chassis must overcome, so the bike responds more eagerly to handlebar input and feels noticeably more fluid in fast chicanes or sweeping motorway bends alike.

Anodising rather than painting ensures the finish is integral to the metal surface — it will not peel, chip or fade in the way powder-coat or lacquer can when subjected to brake dust, road grime or track debris. Each of the four colour options carries the same level of surface treatment, so the choice between gloss black, techno black, techno gold and titanium is purely aesthetic.

Fitment and Compatibility

This rear wheel is designed exclusively for the Honda CBR 1000 RR SP2 SC77 covering model years 2017, 2018 and 2019. The original Honda rear sprocket is not compatible with the OZ sprocket carrier included in the kit; a replacement sprocket suited to the OZ carrier must be used. Spacers are supplied and should be fitted only where required by the specific installation.
