Track-Bred Construction

The Cattiva's forged magnesium shell is not simply a lighter version of an existing design — it was conceived from the outset around the stresses of Superbike competition. Forging aligns the grain structure of the magnesium alloy, producing a wheel that is simultaneously lighter and more resistant to fatigue than a comparable cast component. The result is a rim that holds its geometry race after race, maintaining consistent tyre contact and predictable handling at the limit.

Six-Spoke Cattiva Architecture

The spoke layout, shaped in the OZ SBK Racing wind tunnel and on circuit, evacuates material from every non-critical section while preserving torsional stiffness where it matters most. At high lean angles and under hard acceleration out of slow corners, that stiffness translates directly into rider confidence and measurable stability — qualities that separate a genuine racing wheel from a cosmetic upgrade.

Fitment and Compatibility

This wheel is designed and validated exclusively for the Honda CBR 1000 RR SP2 SC77 model years 2017, 2018 and 2019. It is not homologated for road use and must be fitted and used on closed circuits only. The original Honda rear sprocket is not compatible; a replacement sprocket carrier is included, and an appropriate aftermarket sprocket must be sourced separately.
