A plug that seals a gas port is a pressure part despite its size. A wrong washer under an adjuster changes the click range without anyone noticing why. Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at once, which is why the grade matters.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 03118-22 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Check dimension a 12.8 mm, dimension b 24 mm, dimension c 4 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. A wrong washer under an adjuster changes the click range without anyone noticing why. Washers spread load and set clearance; in a damper both of those are specifications.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 03118-22

Category: Washers

Dimension A: 12.8 mm

Dimension B: 24 mm

Dimension C: 4 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/03118-22_ad1e0af7-a122-4b9f-abe2-c73320adadf0.png?v=1788874590
