Thread size and length identify the fastener; substituting a hardware-store equivalent is not sensible in a pressurised damper.

Key Features

Dimension C 1.6 mm

Dimension B 18 mm

Öhlins part number 00153-11

Original Öhlins service part

Dimension A 10.5 mm

Function

00153-11 is the 10.5 mm, 18 mm, 1.6 mm version — Öhlins lists each size separately. These are the parts that are easy to lose on the bench and impossible to improvise afterwards. Small parts are what hold a rebuild together — the wrong circlip or washer is enough to fail the job. A plug that seals a gas port is a pressure part despite its size.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up.

How to Be Sure It Fits

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 00153-11 in this case. dimension a 10.5 mm, dimension b 18 mm, dimension c 1.6 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Retaining rings come in a groove-specific thickness — the next size does not hold. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00153-11

Category: Washers

Dimension A: 10.5 mm

Dimension B: 18 mm

Dimension C: 1.6 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00153-11_91fe57fc-67a0-4bb7-9ec4-2da3db2fdd1e.png?v=1788868719
