A housing carries adjusters and their seals, so its bores matter as much as its outside. Öhlins machines its housings from solid rather than casting them, which keeps the bores true. Öhlins anodises housings for corrosion resistance rather than for looks.

Why the Original

Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do.

Identifying the Right Part

25618-21 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Check dimension a 63.7 mm, dimension b 88 mm, dimension c 11 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Mounting hardware is specific to the machine and the unit it belongs to. Thread and length identify the adaptor; both are part of the installed length.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 25618-21

Category: Adaptors

Dimension A: 63.7 mm

Dimension B: 88 mm

Dimension C: 11 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/25618-21_2224fc10-7a9a-4d48-9890-3d23c9b7d85f.png?v=1788880952
