A settled spring lowers the machine and steepens the steering without anyone changing a setting. Rates are offered in steps so a change can be made in one direction at a time. Progressive springs change rate through the stroke and suit short-travel machines.

Why the Original

An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do.

Identifying the Right Part

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 21031-06. Öhlins states dimension a 8 mm, dimension b 17 mm, dimension c 1200 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Rate is chosen for rider weight and load, not for the machine alone. Springs are a service part: they age, they settle, and replacing them restores the geometry.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21031-06

Category: Springs

Dimension A: 8 mm

Dimension B: 17 mm

Dimension C: 1200 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21031-06_a4083603-24f5-4bbb-ad7e-c89e2e8a674c.png?v=1788879363
