Stop washers limit travel of an internal part and are sized to that job. Washers spread load and set clearance; in a damper both of those are specifications. Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do.

Identifying the Right Part

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 06060-02 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Thread size and length identify the fastener; substituting a hardware-store equivalent is not sensible in a pressurised damper. Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 06060-02

Category: Washers

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/06060-02_ccf77d63-b188-4731-8dfc-7be3f00e930f.png?v=1788874835
