Thread and length identify the adaptor; both are part of the installed length. Mounting hardware is specific to the machine and the unit it belongs to. Öhlins machines housings from solid billet rather than casting them.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Order under 05087-08. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Check dimension a 3 mm, dimension b 8 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Clamps have a specified torque; over-tightening distorts the bore they hold. Thread and length identify the adaptor; both are part of the installed length.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05087-08

Category: Adaptors

Dimension A: 3 mm

Dimension B: 8 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05087-08_e0419674-11ca-46d4-aae9-3eedb4a3551c.png?v=1788876309
