Öhlins winds, heat-sets and measures each spring, so the rate on the label is the rate fitted. A settled spring lowers the machine and steepens the steering without anyone changing a setting. Öhlins measures each spring after setting rather than relying on the winding specification.

Original Öhlins Part

Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 06212-11 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. The published dimensions are dimension a 1.5 mm, dimension b 60 mm, dimension c 82.6 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Progressive springs change rate through the stroke and suit short-travel machines. Coating is applied after setting so it does not affect the rate.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 06212-11

Category: Springs

Dimension A: 1.5 mm

Dimension B: 60 mm

Dimension C: 82.6 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/06212-11_12a6cb8e-5623-400a-9d25-91f18b72fb7e.png?v=1788877638
