Öhlins measures each spring after setting rather than relying on the winding specification. A settled spring lowers the machine and steepens the steering without anyone changing a setting. A spring that has settled in service sits shorter than new and quietly lowers the ride height.

Why the Original

A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Order under 25618-07. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Öhlins states dimension a 63.7 mm, dimension b 94 mm, dimension c 16 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. A spring that has settled in service sits shorter than new and quietly lowers the ride height. Rates are offered in steps so a change can be made in one direction at a time.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 25618-07

Category: Springs

Dimension A: 63.7 mm

Dimension B: 94 mm

Dimension C: 16 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/25618-07_53fb6bec-977c-46d8-af40-f21bd37ed62a.png?v=1788880945
