Öhlins publishes sag targets, and those are the reference for choosing a rate. Free length and inner diameter decide fit; the rate decides behaviour. Öhlins winds, heat-sets and measures each spring, so the rate on the label is the rate fitted.

Original Öhlins Part

Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 25618-34 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. The published dimensions are dimension a 63.7 mm, dimension b 88 mm, dimension c 3 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Free length and inner diameter decide whether a spring fits; the rate decides whether it suits. Rates are offered in steps so a change can be made in one direction at a time.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 25618-34

Category: Springs

Dimension A: 63.7 mm

Dimension B: 88 mm

Dimension C: 3 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/25618-34_8060ea02-be1b-48e5-b9f7-4b715136743e.png?v=1788880955
