Öhlins measures each spring after setting rather than relying on the winding specification. A settled spring lowers the machine and steepens the steering without anyone changing a setting. Rates are offered in steps so a change can be made in one direction at a time.

Genuine Service Part

A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Part number 25618-04 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. The published dimensions are dimension a 63.7 mm, dimension b 88 mm, dimension c 3 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Free length and inner diameter decide fit; the rate decides behaviour. Coating is applied after setting so it does not affect the rate.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 25618-04

Category: Springs

Dimension A: 63.7 mm

Dimension B: 88 mm

Dimension C: 3 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/25618-04_6454fc2e-a55b-48f2-bda7-2f5960cb5ce7.png?v=1788878501
