Measure the old part against them before ordering. Progressive springs change rate through the stroke and suit short-travel machines. Öhlins winds, heat-sets and measures each spring, so the rate on the label is the rate fitted. Coating is applied after setting so it does not affect the rate.

Why the Original

The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on.

Identifying the Right Part

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 05601-02 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. dimension a 47.3 mm, dimension b 85 mm, dimension c 30 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. A settled spring lowers the machine and steepens the steering without anyone changing a setting. Coating is applied after setting so it does not affect the rate.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05601-02

Category: Springs

Dimension A: 47.3 mm

Dimension B: 85 mm

Dimension C: 30 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05601-02_1856bf42-9b34-497c-8d72-6a849611871a.png?v=1788874374
