A settled spring lowers the machine and steepens the steering without anyone changing a setting. A settled spring lowers the machine without anyone changing a setting. Free length and inner diameter decide whether a spring fits; the rate decides whether it suits.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise.

Getting the Number Right

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 05412-02. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Öhlins winds, heat-sets and measures each spring individually. A settled spring lowers the machine without anyone changing a setting.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05412-02

Category: Springs

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05412-02_5aa6c7c4-0fa2-4578-98f2-c7fe82a56508.png?v=1788876624
