Pins and dowels locate parts to each other; without them the assembly is merely clamped, not positioned.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 10014-02

What It Is

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. A spacer that is a millimetre short changes the preload on a shim stack, and with it the damping. Öhlins uses metric threads throughout, but the length and head form are specific to the position. Circlips hold axial position under load; a sprung one lets the assembly walk.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 10014-02. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them. Öhlins publishes them in the exploded view so a workshop can order the whole position at once.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 10014-02

Category: Ball Joint Spacers

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/10014-02_b50ef7fd-831d-442b-a332-55539debc009.png?v=1788875671
