Circlips are single-use in practice: once sprung, they no longer hold their groove reliably.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 02254-02

Dimension A 8 mm

Dimension C 10 mm

Dimension B 13 mm

Original Öhlins service part

Function

Öhlins publishes 8 mm, 13 mm, 10 mm for 02254-02 — the dimensions are the identity of the part. Substituting a spacer changes the internal geometry, not just the fit. Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it. Pins and dowels locate parts to each other; without them the assembly is merely clamped, not positioned.

Why the Original

The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it.

Getting the Number Right

Order under 02254-02. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. The published dimensions are dimension a 8 mm, dimension b 13 mm, dimension c 10 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them. Pins and dowels locate parts to each other; without them the assembly is merely clamped, not positioned.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 02254-02

Category: Spacers

Dimension A: 8 mm

Dimension B: 13 mm

Dimension C: 10 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/02254-02_6900e62c-dbf1-4ce1-85c2-d0df80f23b0c.png?v=1788874195
