Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at once, which is why the grade matters.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 05952-06

Dimension C 15 mm

Dimension B 22.2 mm

Dimension A 15 mm

Where It Sits

05952-06 is the 15 mm, 22.2 mm, 15 mm version — Öhlins lists each size separately. Retaining rings come in a groove-specific thickness — the next size does not hold. Thread size and length identify the fastener; substituting a hardware-store equivalent is not sensible in a pressurised damper. A wrong washer under an adjuster changes the click range without anyone noticing why.

Why the Original

Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 05952-06. Check dimension a 15 mm, dimension b 22.2 mm, dimension c 15 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Small parts are cheap until one of them is missing on a Friday afternoon. Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05952-06

Category: Spacers

Dimension A: 15 mm

Dimension B: 22.2 mm

Dimension C: 15 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05952-06_09511059-fe9e-448e-a481-8c9ec1982c58.png?v=1788874718
