Measure the old part against them before ordering. A plug that seals a gas port is a pressure part despite its size. Retaining rings come in a groove-specific thickness — the next size does not hold. Small parts are what hold a rebuild together — the wrong circlip or washer is enough to fail the job.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Order under 05586-02. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Check dimension a 12 mm, dimension b 24 mm, dimension c 6.5 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Sealing washers are consumables — they take their shape on first assembly and do not seal twice. Retaining rings come in a groove-specific thickness — the next size does not hold.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05586-02

Category: Spacers

Dimension A: 12 mm

Dimension B: 24 mm

Dimension C: 6.5 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05586-02_2bf15a13-6a86-4a81-80e9-47e5d2a6e52f.png?v=1788876862
