Both diameters and the length are specification rather than approximation. Both diameters and the length are specification, not approximation. A bushing is a consumable and is replaced at rebuild rather than reused.

Genuine Service Part

The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. Öhlins numbers every position so a workshop can order precisely what it needs, not a whole assembly. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not.

Getting the Number Right

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 01653-09. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Bushings take the side load so the seal only has to seal. Öhlins uses low-friction coated bushings so the unit breaks away smoothly rather than sticking.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01653-09

Category: Guides

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01653-09_fcea5dba-bfe9-4aa0-a02b-7656180e279d.png?v=1788871344
