A leaking damper is not a cosmetic problem: it is a damper that has stopped controlling the wheel. Seal kits gather the pieces one rebuild needs, which avoids a second order mid-job. The dust seal does the hard work: it keeps the grit that would score the shaft away from the oil seal.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 00122-01 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. The published dimensions are inner diameter 12 mm, outer diameter 25 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Static seals and dynamic seals are not interchangeable even in the same size. Replacing seals at service intervals is far cheaper than replacing what a failed seal damages.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00122-01

Category: Scrapers

Inner Diameter: 12 mm

Outer Diameter: 25 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00122-01_7934da90-b178-4df7-9cd9-b393c23f048d.png?v=1788871153
