A worn bushing lets the shaft move off centre, and the seal is the next thing to fail. Öhlins uses low-friction coated bushings so the unit breaks away smoothly rather than sticking. Öhlins uses PTFE-coated bushings for a low breakaway force.

Why the Original

Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it.

How to Be Sure It Fits

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 25608-07 in this case. Check inner diameter 14 mm, outer diameter 37 mm, length 41.5 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Guide bushings set the internal alignment of a cartridge. Both diameters and the length are specification, not approximation.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 25608-07

Category: Bushings

Inner Diameter: 14 mm

Outer Diameter: 37 mm

Length: 41.5 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/25608-07_e4e9316b-aa36-438f-a74b-de692a41474f.png?v=1788878480
