Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range. Top caps carry the adjusters and the preload mechanism. Inner tubes are coated because they run in bushings and seals for their whole life.

Original Öhlins Part

The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.

Getting the Number Right

04760-49 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. dimension a 51 mm, dimension b 56 mm, dimension c 507 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. A marked inner tube destroys seals repeatedly until it is replaced. Fork parts are specific to the fork, not to the motorcycle it happens to be fitted to.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04760-49

Category: Outer Tubes

Dimension A: 51 mm

Dimension B: 56 mm

Dimension C: 507 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04760-49_0d8a3827-2f41-4ebd-8607-402d70bfc65e.png?v=1788873183
