Öhlins publishes tube diameters by fork model, and they are not interchangeable across the range.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Dimension A 51 mm

Öhlins part number 04760-07

Dimension B 56 mm

Dimension C 496 mm

What It Is

At 51 mm, 56 mm, 496 mm it fits one position only; the next size up carries a different number. Fork legs are matched left and right on most Öhlins forks and are listed separately. A marked inner tube destroys seals repeatedly until it is replaced. A fork tube that has been bent is scrap: straightening changes the wall and it bends again.

Original Öhlins Part

The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it.

Identifying the Right Part

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 04760-07 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Check dimension a 51 mm, dimension b 56 mm, dimension c 496 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork. Outer tubes are specific to the fork model and its travel.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04760-07

Category: Outer Tubes

Dimension A: 51 mm

Dimension B: 56 mm

Dimension C: 496 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04760-07_6bb95d26-8316-41c4-ab81-ed90c1ac918f.png?v=1788873135
