Cartridge tubes sit inside the fork leg and do the actual damping. Outer tubes hold the bushings and the seal head, so their bore finish matters as much as the inner tube's outside. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range.

Why the Original

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Part number 04760-63 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. dimension a 51 mm, dimension b 26 mm, dimension c 532 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. The outer tube holds the bushings and the seal head, so its bore finish matters as much as the inner tube's outside. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04760-63

Category: Outer Tubes

Dimension A: 51 mm

Dimension B: 26 mm

Dimension C: 532 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04760-63_10c10940-c611-498b-8196-c9e43f722349.png?v=1788873195
