Fork tubes are the structural part of the front end and carry the braking load into the yokes.

Key Features

Dimension A 50 mm

Öhlins part number 04760-26

Dimension B 56 mm

Original Öhlins service part

Dimension C 525 mm

Function

Öhlins publishes 50 mm, 56 mm, 525 mm for 04760-26 — the dimensions are the identity of the part. Inner tubes are coated because they run in bushings and seals for their whole life. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork. Bushings in the fork carry the side load; play there shows up as knocking under braking.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier.

Identifying the Right Part

04760-26 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Check dimension a 50 mm, dimension b 56 mm, dimension c 525 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Öhlins anodises the bore where the bushings run. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04760-26

Category: Outer Tubes

Dimension A: 50 mm

Dimension B: 56 mm

Dimension C: 525 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04760-26_6efee56b-027e-4085-b686-52e09805ebb6.png?v=1788873158
