A marked inner tube destroys seals repeatedly until it is replaced. Outer tubes are specific to the fork model and its travel. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

Identifying the Right Part

04760-56 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Check dimension a 43 mm, dimension b 55 mm, dimension c 525 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. A marked inner tube destroys seals repeatedly until it is replaced. Fork tubes are the structural part of the front end and carry the braking load into the yokes.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04760-56

Category: Outer Tubes

Dimension A: 43 mm

Dimension B: 55 mm

Dimension C: 525 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04760-56_a7e298cb-6138-487c-be2b-62a0cb884af2.png?v=1788873188
