Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them. A wrong washer under an adjuster changes the click range without anyone noticing why. Öhlins uses metric threads throughout, but the grade is chosen per position.

Original Öhlins Part

The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Order under 06236-01. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Retaining rings come in a groove-specific thickness — the next size does not hold. Small parts are cheap until one of them is missing on a Friday afternoon.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 06236-01

Category: Nuts

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/06236-01_f60ceea5-e9fc-425b-ba57-3f05ea3d9884.png?v=1788875245
