ohlins-lower-ring-06252-01
Öhlins Lower ring – 06252-01

Lower ring, Öhlins part number 06252-01. Where a part supersedes an older number, Öhlins states it in the catalogue.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 06252-01

Original Öhlins service part

Function

There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. An original Öhlins service part, listed under its own number in the Öhlins spare parts catalogue. The number on the part matches the number in the drawing, which makes identification unambiguous. Service parts make the difference between a damper that is rebuilt and one that is replaced.

Genuine Service Part

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

Identifying the Right Part

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 06252-01 in this case. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. This part comes from the same production as the components it goes into. Service parts are what make an Öhlins unit worth rebuilding rather than replacing.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 06252-01

Category: Service Parts

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/06252-01_d4501d0c-3a53-4ebc-b786-0d7a3d6a3334.png?v=1788875264
