A bent inner tube is scrap — straightening changes the wall and it bends again.

Key Features

Dimension B 602 mm

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 04761-30

Dimension A 43 mm

Function

The published figures are 43 mm, 602 mm. Measure the old part against them before ordering. Öhlins publishes tube diameters by fork model, and they are not interchangeable across the range. Cartridge tubes sit inside the fork leg and do the actual damping. Inner tubes carry a low-friction coating; once it is through, the seals wear quickly.

Why the Original

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 04761-30 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Check dimension a 43 mm, dimension b 602 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork. Inner tubes carry a low-friction coating; once it is through, the seals wear quickly.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04761-30

Category: Inner Tubes

Dimension A: 43 mm

Dimension B: 602 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04761-30_dcb90bb2-664f-471f-91ea-ff63d5e18e00.png?v=1788875740
