A marked inner tube destroys seals repeatedly until it is replaced. Outer tubes hold the bushings and the seal head, so their bore finish matters as much as the inner tube's outside. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork.

Why the Original

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 04761-46. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. dimension a 43 mm, dimension b 545 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Outer tubes hold the bushings and the seal head, so their bore finish matters as much as the inner tube's outside. Fork tubes are the structural part of the front end and carry the braking load into the yokes.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04761-46

Category: Inner Tubes

Dimension A: 43 mm

Dimension B: 545 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04761-46_8d27612f-031a-46dd-8b13-7fa3913f8175.png?v=1788873255
