Outer tubes hold the bushings and the seal head, so their bore finish matters as much as the inner tube's outside.

Key Features

Dimension B 514 mm

Dimension A 43 mm

Öhlins part number 04761-12

Original Öhlins service part

What It Is

Dimensionally this is 43 mm, 514 mm, which is how it is told apart from the rest of the range. Diameter and length identify the tube; both follow the fork model. Fork legs are matched left and right on most Öhlins forks and are listed separately. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range.

Why the Original

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 04761-12. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. The published dimensions are dimension a 43 mm, dimension b 514 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Inner tubes carry a low-friction coating; once it is through, the seals wear quickly. A bent inner tube is scrap — straightening changes the wall and it bends again.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04761-12

Category: Inner Tubes

Dimension A: 43 mm

Dimension B: 514 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04761-12_fce18435-c86d-449d-a1b6-4fed689b2735.png?v=1788873217
