Öhlins machines its housings from solid rather than casting them, which keeps the bores true. Adaptor pieces let one damper body serve several mounting geometries. Housing threads carry the adjusters and are the part that suffers if the adjuster is forced.

Why the Original

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

Getting the Number Right

Order under 04750-02. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. The published dimensions are dimension a 47 mm, dimension b 50 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Mounting hardware is model-specific — the damper body may be common, the brackets never are. A housing carries adjusters and their seals, so its bores matter as much as its outside.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04750-02

Category: Housings

Dimension A: 47 mm

Dimension B: 50 mm

Thread: M47

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04750-02_643f6d79-e107-4d33-9ac5-e6bef816c01e.png?v=1788873044
