Clamps have a specified torque; over-tightening distorts the bore they hold. A cracked bracket is a safety matter, not a cosmetic one. Housing threads carry the adjusters and are the part that suffers if the adjuster is forced.

Original Öhlins Part

The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.

Identifying the Right Part

04750-20 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. dimension a 47 mm, dimension b 40 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Mounting hardware is model-specific — the damper body may be common, the brackets never are. A housing carries adjusters and their seals, so its bores matter as much as its outside.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04750-20

Category: Housings

Dimension A: 47 mm

Dimension B: 40 mm

Thread: M47

Finish: Grey

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04750-20_56a1c546-6a1f-442b-a854-a9da40e6a991.png?v=1788873067
