Measure the old part against them before ordering. Hose-mounted reservoirs allow installation where a piggyback would foul the chassis. The reservoir hose carries the full gas charge and is pressure-tested accordingly. A soft reservoir usually means the bladder has failed rather than the gas has leaked.

Genuine Service Part

The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 01047-03. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. The published dimensions are dimension a 1 mm, dimension b 600 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect.
