The reservoir takes the oil the shaft displaces as it enters the damper. Hose-mounted reservoirs allow installation where a piggyback would foul the chassis. Öhlins pressure-tests hoses because they carry the full gas charge.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 00637-14 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. dimension a 10 mm, dimension b 10 mm, dimension c 450 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. A separating piston or bladder keeps nitrogen and oil apart; if it fails the damping goes with it. Hose length is part of the installation and cannot be changed freely.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00637-14

Category: Hoses

Dimension A: 10 mm

Dimension B: 10 mm

Dimension C: 450 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00637-14_80022a30-f4a8-41b4-8c26-1da9540ba1b6.png?v=1788872565
