Bushings carry the side load in a damper or fork and keep the moving parts concentric. Sleeves position parts axially and often set the preload on a stack. A worn bushing lets the shaft move off centre, and the seal is the next thing to fail.

Why the Original

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 21916-03 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. inner diameter 23.3 mm, outer diameter 36 mm, length 170 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Bushings carry the side load in a damper or fork and keep the moving parts concentric. Guide bushings set the internal alignment of a cartridge.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21916-03

Category: Guides

Inner Diameter: 23.3 mm

Outer Diameter: 36 mm

Length: 170 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21916-03_982aa927-2949-4b74-8749-2eb9effd9d2b.png?v=1788878026
