Inner tubes carry a low-friction coating; once it is through, the seals wear quickly.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 21664-27

Function

Öhlins publishes no separate dimension for this position, so the part number carries the identity. Top caps carry the adjusters and the preload mechanism. Fork parts are specific to the fork, not to the motorcycle it happens to be fitted to. Öhlins machines the axle clamp so it grips without pulling the fork out of alignment.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Part number 21664-27 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Top caps carry the adjusters and the preload mechanism. Öhlins publishes tube diameters by fork model, and they are not interchangeable across the range.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21664-27

Category: Fork Bottoms

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21664-27_0f7609a1-72f1-447a-96c6-b979d76323c2.png?v=1788880004
