Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 21664-17

Dimension B 211 mm

Dimension A 210 mm

Where It Sits

Öhlins gives it as 210 mm, 211 mm; nothing about that is approximate. Axle clamps are machined so the axle clamps without pinching the fork out of alignment. The fork bottom carries the axle and takes the braking load into the fork. A marked inner tube destroys seals repeatedly until it is replaced.

Original Öhlins Part

An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.

How to Be Sure It Fits

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 21664-17 in this case. Öhlins states dimension a 210 mm, dimension b 211 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork. Inner tubes carry a low-friction coating; once it is through, the seals wear quickly.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21664-17

Category: Fork Bottoms

Dimension A: 210 mm

Dimension B: 211 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21664-17_011c3be0-c687-4f2e-8e6e-fffda39537ca.png?v=1788877571
