The fork bottom carries the axle and takes the braking load into the fork. Inner tubes are coated because they run in bushings and seals for their whole life. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork.

Why the Original

Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Part number 21940-01 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Left and right are different parts on almost every fork. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21940-01

Category: Fork Bottoms

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21940-01_ebd411d0-28c3-4554-81c0-7fee787e40c8.png?v=1788878125
