Housing threads carry the adjusters and are the part that suffers if the adjuster is forced.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 21628-09

Where It Sits

There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. Brackets and housings position the component precisely enough that it works as designed. A cracked bracket is a safety matter, not a cosmetic one. Öhlins machines its housings from solid rather than casting them, which keeps the bores true.

Original Öhlins Part

The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 21628-09 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. A housing carries adjusters and their seals, so its bores matter as much as its outside. Brackets and housings position the component precisely enough that it works as designed.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21628-09

Category: Fender Brackets

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21628-09_df29bd0c-6237-4483-86a4-46f6873e409e.png?v=1788879717
