The spherical bearing in an end eye lets the damper follow the linkage without side load. Eye width and bore diameter both have to match the chassis mount. Spherical bearings in the eye let the damper move without binding as the linkage arcs.

Why the Original

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it.

Getting the Number Right

Order under 15006-03. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Thread pitch is specific to the tube — caps are not interchangeable between units. The cap seals against an O-ring, so its face finish matters.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 15006-03

Category: End Caps

Finish: Gold

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/15006-03_daa70feb-2afd-4a23-ad87-c3bd58c77d82.png?v=1788875915
