The end eye carries the entire load of the damper into the chassis, which is why it is machined rather than cast. Eye width and bore diameter both have to match the chassis mount. Öhlins machines many eyes from the same billet as the damper body.

Original Öhlins Part

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise.

Identifying the Right Part

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 06219-04. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. End caps seal the unit and carry the adjusters; they are matched to the tube they close. The eye takes the entire load path from wheel to chassis.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 06219-04

Category: End Eyes

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/06219-04_9f9c1bad-deee-45df-8c2e-96a482a715f6.png?v=1788875181
