Eye width and bore diameter both have to match the chassis mount. Top eyes with an integrated preload adjuster are listed as one part. The end eye carries the entire load of the damper into the chassis, which is why it is machined rather than cast.

Genuine Service Part

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

Identifying the Right Part

01054-41 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. dimension a 16 mm, dimension b 53 mm, dimension c 20 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Thread pitch on end caps is specific to the tube they close. A spherical bearing in the eye lets the damper follow the linkage arc without side load.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01054-41

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 16 mm

Dimension B: 53 mm

Dimension C: 20 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01054-41_af2e61f5-54ae-455f-9115-b2c729cbc3d0.png?v=1788873126
