Thread size and eye diameter identify the part. Thread pitch on end caps is specific to the tube they close. Öhlins machines many eyes from the same billet as the damper body.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 01054-16 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. The published dimensions are dimension a 16 mm, dimension b 50 mm, dimension c 20 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. A worn end eye bearing is a common source of rear-end vagueness that gets blamed on damping. End caps carry adjusters, seals and often the gas valve.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01054-16

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 16 mm

Dimension B: 50 mm

Dimension C: 20 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01054-16_1cd79bc3-ba6e-46c0-a3d4-7e50a03a04ed.png?v=1788873114
