A worn eye bearing is often mistaken for tired damping. Öhlins machines the eye from the same billet as the body on many units. The spherical bearing in an end eye lets the damper follow the linkage without side load.

Original Öhlins Part

Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.

Getting the Number Right

Order under 21120-08. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Öhlins states dimension a 14 mm, dimension b 79.5 mm, dimension c 26 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Spherical bearings in the eye let the damper move without binding as the linkage arcs. A worn eye bearing is often mistaken for worn damping.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21120-08

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 14 mm

Dimension B: 79.5 mm

Dimension C: 26 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21120-08_b512ece4-24f0-4624-b690-16a98f3ac1df.png?v=1788877068
