The end eye carries the entire load of the damper into the chassis, which is why it is machined rather than cast.

Key Features

Dimension C 26 mm

Dimension A 14 mm

Öhlins part number 21155-01

Original Öhlins service part

Dimension B 40 mm

Where It Sits

14 mm, 40 mm, 26 mm: that is the whole specification, and it has to match what came out. Spherical bearings in the eye let the damper move without binding as the linkage arcs. A worn end eye bearing is a common source of rear-end vagueness that gets blamed on damping. A spherical bearing in the eye lets the damper follow the linkage arc without side load.

Why the Original

Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

Getting the Number Right

Order under 21155-01. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. The published dimensions are dimension a 14 mm, dimension b 40 mm, dimension c 26 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. A worn eye bearing is often mistaken for worn damping. Eye width and bore diameter both have to match the chassis mount.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21155-01

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 14 mm

Dimension B: 40 mm

Dimension C: 26 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21155-01_3b29f120-35d0-4891-9ea7-05af4cf25478.png?v=1788879522
