Thread size and length identify the fastener; substituting a hardware-store equivalent is not sensible in a pressurised damper.

Key Features

Dimension C 2 mm

Öhlins part number 25601-01

Dimension A 63.5 mm

Dimension B 84 mm

Original Öhlins service part

Where It Sits

25601-01 is the 63.5 mm, 84 mm, 2 mm version — Öhlins lists each size separately. Circlips are single-use in practice: once sprung, they no longer hold their groove reliably. Öhlins gives every washer and spacer its own part number because its length or thickness is part of the internal geometry. Pins and dowels locate parts to each other; without them the assembly is merely clamped, not positioned.

Why the Original

Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 25601-01. The published dimensions are dimension a 63.5 mm, dimension b 84 mm, dimension c 2 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Small parts are what hold a rebuild together — the wrong circlip or washer is enough to fail the job. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 25601-01

Category: Spacers

Dimension A: 63.5 mm

Dimension B: 84 mm

Dimension C: 2 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/25601-01_afacf8cb-37b8-416b-ba86-99c78d0b68f5.png?v=1788880905
