The tube also carries the end cap threads, so thread damage means a new tube. Twin-tube dampers use two concentric tubes, and both are listed separately. Bore finish decides how well the piston band seals; a scored tube leaks damping past the piston.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Order under 04300-34. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. diameter 36 mm, length 105.5 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. The cylinder tube is the working bore: the piston runs inside it and every damping force is reacted by its wall. The tube is what the whole damper is built around: everything else references its bore.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04300-34

Category: Cylinder Tubes

Diameter: 36 mm

Length: 105.5 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04300-34_800bffb7-8440-4142-93d8-c9cecc009e26.png?v=1788875184
