Öhlins publishes an exploded view for each unit, and every position in it carries its own number. The number on the part matches the number in the drawing, which makes identification unambiguous. This part comes from the same production as the components it goes into.

Original Öhlins Part

An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 06009-01 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Check dimension a 1 mm, dimension b 87.5 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Öhlins does not sell service parts as pattern equivalents — there is one specification. Ordering by number from the exploded view is the reliable way to get the right piece.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 06009-01

Category: Service Parts

Dimension A: 1 mm

Dimension B: 87.5 mm

Thread: M37x1

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/06009-01_cca49a4f-de5c-4b20-8d9c-46912ebf84a1.png?v=1788874782
