A wrong washer under an adjuster changes the click range without anyone noticing why.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 01499-07

Original Öhlins service part

What It Is

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. The correct pliers matter: a scored clip is a failed clip. Öhlins fits them where a threaded solution would add length. Circlips hold axial position under load; a sprung one lets the assembly walk.

Genuine Service Part

The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 01499-07. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Thread size and length identify the fastener; substituting a hardware-store equivalent is not sensible in a pressurised damper. Öhlins gives every washer and spacer its own part number because its length or thickness is part of the internal geometry.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01499-07

Category: Circlips

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01499-07_57077536-62f9-4b9f-9d4c-0c553bde8b9d.png?v=1788871283
